Gateless Academy Alumni Offer

Hi writers,

I can’t believe the summer is over! It seems like just yesterday we started our calls together.

I wanted to thank you again, so very much, for showing up in July—whether you joined the live calls, watched the replays, worked through the Byline Blueprint course, or quietly cheered others on from the sidelines. Many of you quickly acted on what you've learned, and I was so proud to see you taking those courageous first steps.

No matter where you are in the pitching or submitting process, I want to honor the time you’ve committed and help you maintain your momentum. Because as we’ve discussed in our group calls and as I mention in the course, momentum matters.

One pitch becomes another.

One submission leads to another.

One rejection teaches you something.

One acceptance opens new doors.

And finding the right home for your work isn't something you accomplish in 4 weeks. It's something you continue doing, piece by piece, over months and years.

That's why I don't really think of this email as saying goodbye.

I think of it as an invitation to keep going.

Several of you asked during our calls whether there would be opportunities to continue working together after the course ended. Some of you also may remember that I mentioned I was considering putting together a small-group program.

I'm happy to say the answer is yes! 🥳

I've created a few different ways we can continue working together, depending on where you are in your short-form publishing journey—from a one-time strategy session to ongoing coaching, a new small-group program, and a done-for-you submission service.

Because you were part of this Gateless Academy cohort, I'd love to extend your exclusive Academy Alumni pricing. These rates are available only to members of this Academy cohort and expire on Wednesday, September 30, at 11:59 p.m. PDT.

Here are the available options:

One-Time Submission Strategy Session (1:1 session, 2 hours)

Academy Alumni Rate: $229 (Regularly $279)

Perfect if you have one completed piece, one pitch, or one publishing question you'd like to work through together.

During our two-hour session, we'll discuss your goals, identify publication opportunities, refine your pitch or submission strategy, and create a clear action plan. You'll also receive two weeks of email support afterward if questions come up as you move forward.

Book a one-time submission strategy call here.

The Submission Lab (Private 1:1 weekly coaching, 1 hour/week)

Academy Alumni Rate: $399/month (Regularly $449/month)

For writers who want ongoing support, accountability, and strategy.

We'll meet weekly to discuss what you're working on, what you've submitted, where to follow up, publication opportunities, editor responses, and your next steps. You'll continue submitting your own work, but you won't have to navigate the publishing world alone.

To help you continue generating ideas, you’ll have access to my weekly Gateless salons (“Writer’s Roulette”) in Skool.

Schedule a free consultation call to see if this option is the right fit for you.

Publication Concierge (Done-for-you submission service)

Academy Alumni Rate: $699/month (Regularly $749/month)

For writers who'd rather spend their time writing while someone else manages the submission process.

Each month, I'll research appropriate publication opportunities, submit 1-3 pieces of your work to up to 6 publications according to their individual guidelines, track your submissions, and keep you informed every step of the way.

Publishing often takes time, but your work will stay organized, active, and moving through the publishing ecosystem.

As part of this package, you’ll also have the option to join my Gateless writing salons (“Writer’s Roulette”) every week.

Schedule a free consultation call to see if this option is the right fit for you.

Small-Group Submission Program

Founding Academy Rate: $149/month (Future price: $199/month)

Some of you may remember that I mentioned I was thinking about creating a small-group program.

I'm excited to say it's happening—and I'd love for this Academy cohort to be the very first group!

If you've enjoyed our weekly discussions this month, this is an extension of that experience, just in a much smaller setting.

The group will be limited to 4–5 writers to ensure everyone has dedicated time each week.

Our meetings will take place on Thursday mornings at 9 AM Eastern. We start September 3!

Before each meeting, you'll submit one item for discussion. It could be a completed piece, a pitch, a publication you're considering, a rejection you'd like help interpreting, or a submission strategy question.

Together, we'll refine ideas, strengthen pitches, discuss publication fit, celebrate wins, troubleshoot setbacks, and make sure you leave every session knowing exactly what to do next.

As with the other packages, you’ll have the opportunity to join my Gateless writing salons (“Writer’s Roulette”) every week in Skool.

And as a member of this new group, you'll receive the special Founding Academy rate of $149/month.

Schedule a free consultation call to see if this option is the right fit for you.

Lastly, you can always upgrade to a premium membership in The Write Hustle Skool for $39/month.

This comes with a monthly Q&A group call, the ability to post in the group anytime, and weekly Gateless salons (“Writer’s Roulette”) hosted by me. I’d love to write with you sometime!

Remember, Academy alumni pricing ends September 30th!

There's no right next step—only the one that best supports where you are right now.

If you're interested in one of these options—or you're simply not sure which would be the best fit for your goals—schedule a 15-minute consultation call with me here. I'd be happy to help you think it through.

Whether we continue working together or not, I hope you'll keep submitting.

Your writing doesn't belong in a folder on your computer. Someone out there needs to read it.  ♥️ I truly believe every piece has a home. Sometimes it just takes patience—and persistence—to find it.

Thank you for letting me be part of your writing journey this month. Watching your confidence grow, your ideas take shape, and your submissions begin has been one of the greatest joys of teaching this course.

I can't wait to celebrate where your writing finds its next home.

Write on,

Krissi
