I HELP PEOPLE “GOOGLE-IFY” THEIR NAMES.
The best way to get attention on the internet?
Commit flagrant art theft. Get published.
Whether you identify as a writer or entrepreneur or something in between, there’s no better way to command attention than banking bylines.
YOU DON’T NEED A JOURNALISM DEGREE OR AN MFA IN CREATIVE WRITING.
You just need to believe you’re a writer.
(Because you are.)
If you think you need to be a “professional writer” to get published somewhere, hold on to your socks.
Before I got my first byline, I thought I had to know someone at a publication or have some kind of “official writing credential” to get published.
I didn’t think of myself as a “writer.” The only professional writing I’d done was blog posts and newsletters for other businesses and entrepreneurs.
And I wasn’t experimenting with fiction like I had as a kid. I wasn’t writing essays or even “Millennially” (yes, I just made that up) journaling in my MacBook about boys I liked who didn’t like me back. (Anyone else having an uninvited college flashback?…)
But someone I knew had a personal essay published in Business Insider. She wasn’t a “professional writer,” either. I figured if she could do it, so could I. It wasn’t until I googled “how to write for Business Insider” that I realized I didn’t need any of the stuff I thought I did.
In November 2025, I was trained and certified as a Gateless teacher by Suzanne Kingsbury, the incredible founder of the Gateless Method.
I use my training to host and lead weekly virtual Gateless writing salons, host writing retreats, andhelp writers get their short-form work published across the web and print media.
I’m here to help you find your voice, build your confidence, brush up your drafts, and get published wherever your heart desires.

A FEW OF MY
FAVORITE THINGS
01. ADVENTURE
I don’t consider myself a “daredevil,” but I’ll take an off-the-ground risk from time to time.
02. COFFEE
Let’s not talk before I’ve had my first cup of coffee. I’ll take a latte at cafes or a splash of milk and sugar at home.
03. SWEETS
Got chocolate? Please share.
04. TRAVEL
Some of the greatest stories come from journeys—both close to home and abroad. I love exploring the world.
